If you’re looking for a way to keep your future engineer entertained during the holiday festivities, look no further! If you’ve got Legos in your home, you can do this fun STEAM challenge with your child. The question posed by Left Brain Craft Brain is: It’s 2022 – Why does Santa keep using a sleigh? Challenge your kiddo to build a more modern and efficient mode of transportation for “The Big Guy”.
Use Lego blocks and wheels to complete this project. You can also find small packages for Santa to carry and, if you have one, a Lego person to stand in for Saint Nick. Once your child has designed and built their new sleigh, have them test it for speed, crashing, safety, and distance. Have them take notes. What can they do to make their sleigh better?
