Tuition Assistance
AS PARENTS FACE HARDSHIPS, THEIR CHILDREN ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE AT CRITCHLOW ADKINS!
At Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers, we believe that every family should have access to quality, affordable childcare. Over the course of more than 50 years, we have had the privilege of serving more than four generations of families (12,500+ children) from varying socio-economic backgrounds. Since 1970, CACC supporters have allowed us to provide more than $2.75 million in tuition assistance to families in our programs. Through grants and charitable contributions, we provide anywhere from $40,000 to $60,000 in assistance each year to qualifying families.
For example, we have supported parents who suddenly lost their jobs by providing temporary tuition assistance until they could find another. The generosity of Critchlow supporters has helped military families, single mothers, grandparents caring for grandchildren, and two-parent families.
Over the past five decades, Critchlow has remained committed to the vision of our founders, who were concerned about the lack of high-quality, affordable childcare for working families in Talbot County. Our commitment to providing reliable, financially accessible, quality, educational childcare gives parents peace of mind when they go to work. For many, it provides the opportunity to continue their education and improve the financial wellbeing of their families.
