IRA Distribution

Make a difference today and save on taxes. It’s possible when you support Critchlow through your IRA.

If you are over 70 1/2, you must take a Required Minimum Distribution from your IRA. Instead of creating a taxable event for yourself, why not make part or all of your donation a charitable gift to Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers?

As long as the distribution is paid directly to Critchlow Adkins from your IRA, the amount will not be counted in your taxable income for the year, which may result in tax savings for you!

Stock Gift

A gift of highly appreciated securities offers you two-fold tax savings by avoiding the capital gains tax you’d owe if you sold the stock and then made the gift.

Making a gift of appreciated stock allows you to take an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift, regardless of how much you paid for the shares when you bought them. Gifts of long-term capital gain stock are deductive up to a maximum of 30% of your adjusted gross income.
