STEAM Saturday – The Egg Drop Challenge! (1/8/2022)

Welcome back to another STEAM Saturday!  We are very excited to introduce a fun project from called the Egg Drop Challenge. In this activity, kids will learn about inertia – how much energy is needed to move or stop an object. All you need for this project is:  a plastic cup, water, a piece of cardboard or a tray with a smooth bottom, a cardboard tube, and an egg (which might go splat, so you might want to have some cleaning supplies handy).

Click HERE to see how the experiment is done, and watch the video below to see Science Bob do the experiment on Live with Kelly and Ryan!

Have a great time learning together!

We’ll see you right back here next Saturday for another STEAM Saturday activity!  Scroll through the rest of our website to learn how Critchlow Adkins is Building Brighter Futures for the children and families we serve!
