STEAM Saturday – Lego Building Challenges! (8-9-2025)

The summer weather has been amazing, but unfortunately, we can’t spend 24 hours a day outside during summer break.  If you’re looking for engaging indoor activities for your children to do when they come in from the sun, we recommend checking out these great Lego challenges from Little Bins for Little Hands!

STEAM doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.  Little Bins for Little Hands has compiled a series of engineering/building prompts and science experiments that will help your child hone his or her problem solving and critical thinking skills, all while playing and having a blast.  Plus, you likely already have a set of building blocks at home, so not only are these activities fun, but free as well!

As always, get as creative as you want, and above all, have lots of fun learning together!

We’ll see you right back here next Saturday for another STEAM Saturday activity!  Scroll through the rest of our website to learn how Critchlow Adkins is Building Brighter Futures for the children and families we serve!
