STEAM Saturday – Valentine’s Day Physics! (2/11/2023)

Tuesday is Valentine’s Day, and what better way to celebrate than to encourage your little scientist’s love of physics?  The inventive folks at Little Bins for Little Hands have put together a list of super fun Valentine-themed activities and experiments that can help your curious child learn some really cool science!  The activities include:

  • The Flying Cupid Balloon Rocket Launcher
  • A Heart Catapult
  • Sinking the Love Boat
  • Floating Hearts
  • …and more!

All of these activities can be done with simple materials, like balloons, popsicle sticks, heart candy, aluminum foil, club soda, yarn, and paper or plastic cups.  You’ll have a blast learning right alongside them!
