Our Mission

Critchlow Adkins Children’s Centers provides high quality, financially accessible childcare for children and their families in a nurturing, diverse, safe, and enriching environment.

Our History

Critchlow Adkins was founded by Happy Critchlow and Jan Adkins at St. Mark’s Church in Easton, MD in 1970 as Easton Day Care Center, Inc. Their mission was to provide affordable daycare to working families in the community.

Since then, Critchlow Adkins has grown to include five sites located throughout Talbot County. We serve 350+ children annually, ages 2-12, in our preschool, before- and after-school care, and summer camp programs.
